1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, to remember your preferences, and to provide information to site owners. “Similar technologies” covers HTML5 local storage, session storage, and pixels — we mention these alongside cookies throughout this policy.
2. Cookies we use
We keep our cookie use minimal. The categories we currently set are:
Essential
Cookies that the site needs to function. We use a small set of framework cookies set by Next.js to support routing and caching, plus any cookies required to remember your cookie-consent decision. Without these the site cannot work.
Functional
Cookies that remember a preference you have set, such as a dismissed newsletter banner or a theme selection. These do not require consent under EU/UK GDPR because they are necessary to deliver a service you have requested.
Analytics
We do not currently deploy any analytics cookies on the public site. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in future, we will update this policy and request consent where required by GDPR.
Marketing
We do not run advertising or marketing trackers. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers, and we do not use retargeting pixels.
3. Consent and control
Where consent is required, we ask for it before setting any non-essential cookie. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser or by using the browser’s private-browsing mode.

4. Do Not Track
We respect browser-level Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control signals. Where we cannot technically honour a signal (for example, because a sub-processor does not yet support it), we explain the limitation in this policy.
5. Changes
If we add or remove cookies, we update this page and adjust the “Last updated” date above. Material changes are announced with a banner on the site.
